Tiesto Releases New Retro Inspired Video For “Wasted”
EDM mega-star Tiesto has released a retro inspired video for his new single “Wasted” off his upcoming album, Town Called Paradise.
The video is definitely on the 60s themed band wagon. The ladies who lunch get together and party just a little too hard with their carefully updone hair and perfect hors d’oeuvres and tiny cakes.
Tiësto recently released Wasted, the latest single off his upcoming LP A Town Called Paradise. Aided vocally by the pop stylings of Matthew Koma, Wasted is sure to be a summer smash. Rest assured, the remixes for this one will be pouring out in the coming months, but before they do, Tiësto has shared his own collection in a new EP.
The four-track EP is the complete package for Tiësto fans and contains remixes from artists across the electronic spectrum. The producer kicks off the pack with two house bangers from fellow Dutch producer Ummet Ozcan and his own alter ego TST before cooling down with a mellow mix from chillmaster Mike Mago. The album is finished off with a crushing new number from the devious trap titans Yellow Claw. [LessThan3]

It sounds like a perfect summer dance tune, great for driving down the road with your sunglasses on. Not too fond of the theme of having to get smashed before enjoying time with someone, usually not a good sign with friends or lovers in my experience.
The costuming, and set design are pretty fun for the video. I am a sucker for just about anything retro or vintage inspired, though, so Tiesto had me at hello. And adding Tiesto into the magazine covers and TV show is pretty clever.
What do you think you clever bees? You like the video for “Wasted”? What about this being the fun song of the summer?
