Now, bees like things fast and easy (who doesn’t really). And pasta HAS to be one of the easiest quick fixes around. Unfortunately, most pasta sauces are FILLED with SUGAR and SODIUM! The bees were amazed at what they had been eating all this time, especially with the organic and all natural labels. This tomato sauce was the only one we found in the entire store that had this low amount of sodium. Talk about frustration! But one whole can, because who only eats half a can, of this tomato sauce has only 206 mgs of sodium.

HOLY COW!!! We LOVE Prego, it’s so tasty, and easy. Two of our favorite things. But, that amount of SODIUM, is out of control! 580 mgs for 1/4 cup?!?! Compared to 30mgs in the Muir Glen. For 15 oz it would be 3854mgs of SODIUM!!! That’s almost twice the allowed amount for one day!

We understand that this can of sauce may need some adjusting, such as adding oregano, basil, or pepper, but it’s a start. Just don’t forget to add in the amount of sodium you’ll be eating in the pasta. And we’d just skip the garlic bread all together.

For you Mysties… here ya go!
