SoCal Based Gaslamp Popcorn Is My New Snack Addiction
I have a weakness, for good popcorn. I can eat an entire large bag of cheddar popcorn all on my own and not blink about it. Now, I have a new weakness: Gaslamp Popcorn based right here in the historic San Diego Gaslamp District! A yummy snack that I will eat, and it supports a local business? Um, yes please. Just so you know, these tasty popcorn treats are available online, or in-store at Vons, Safeway and Ralphs, so you will be sure to find them near you, especially here in Southern California.
After eating the package of Kettle Corn popcorn in one night, I decided to bring the Cinnamon Caramel popcorn and the White Cheddar popcorn to work with me, so I could spread the popcorn love around.

These bags of popcorn maybe lasted 24 hours. Everyone at my office dove into the white cheddar, that was gone immediately. The Cinnamon Caramel wasn’t far behind though. This one tasted like a cinnamon roll, but not at heavy. I can eat this one for a girl’s night with a nice fun movie on the TV playing a good silly movie. Yeah, it’s like that.
So how does Gaslamp Popcorn describe themselves?
We’re popcorn fanatics! Isn’t everyone? More than just popped corn, Gaslamp Popcorn is handmade in small batches, using only all natural pure cane sugar, canola oil, and popcorn … with just a pinch of sea salt. Every kernel is popped by the popcorn experts. We’ll make a fanatic out of YOU.
We started making kettle corn in the historic Gaslamp district of San Diego in 1998. Over the last decade we have become one of America’s old fashioned snacking favorites. Take a pop, and you’ll see why.
In addition to the Kettle Corn, Cinnamon Caramel and White Cheddar flavors Gaslamp Popcorn will soon be releasing a new Sea Salt and Olive Oil version.
