My Visit To Dana Point’s Elephant Parade
Little Mosha is the inspiration for this Elephant Parade
This weekend I took a morning all to myself and made the trip up to Dana Point to see the Elephant Parade.
I have to tell you, bring your walking shoes. There are beautifully painted elephants all over Dana Point’s harbor and surrounding areas. It can take you more than an hour, at least, to walk the entire harbor and see all of the elephants just at the harbor. I didn’t even see half of the elephants!!
There are also resorts and hotels that are housing some of the other elephants. I made it to the St. Regis Monarch Beach to see “Wild Life” by pinup artist Olivia De Berardinis. The St. Regis also had mini elephants on display, and there were tiny elephants for sale in their gift shop. (The hotels displaying the elephants all had small elephants for sale).
This is a great way to spend a day off in SoCal. The Elephant Parade will be in Dana Point until November, so you still have some time to visit.
