Gaslamp Popcorn Holiday Flavors

Gaslamp Holiday Popcorn Flavors Review

If you are at a stand still trying to figure out what to break out for holiday entertaining that is easy, unique, and delicious we have the answer for you. We were lucky enough to be able to test the new Holiday Flavors from Gaslamp Popcorn (a San Diego based business).

Easy Holiday Entertaining Treats

The last thing that we all want to worry about this season is what to put out as snacks for our holiday parties either at home or at work. From Thanksgiving to Christmas to New Years there’s always the question of what to have out for people to enjoy when not having an entire meal.

Gaslamp Popcorn based in San Diego has these four new tasty flavors for a limited time this holiday season: Peppermint, Apple Crumble Pie, Pumpkin Spice Pie and Holiday Cookie. All of which are available online if you are not in the Southern California area. But if you do live here, check out Ralphs, Vons and Albertsons.

Holiday Snacks, Perfect for Parties and Work

In order to test the new Holiday flavors from Gaslamp Popcorn, we brought all four of the new flavors to the office.

The overwhelming favorite of the four new popcorn flavors was most definitely the Peppermint popcorn. It reminded everyone of kettle corn style popcorn with its sweet and salty style, but also had the holiday twist of the flecks of peppermint mixed in. This bag was the first to go, and it didn’t take long.

Both the Pumpkin Spice Pie and Apple Crumble Pie were a nice surprise with the cinnamon taste. Not too sweet at all, and a little more on the savory side than the Peppermint popcorn. These would be great poured in bowls around the room at a cocktail party.

We also really liked the Holiday Cookie popcorn. It had a nice sweet smell to it, but was not sticky like caramel corn can be. A good switch up from regular holiday popcorn ideas, as it tasted and smelled just like a sugar cookie, but without the overwhelming sugar buzz.

If you decide to share these holiday snack time popcorns from Gaslamp, we would also suggest grabbing a bag of their white cheddar popcorn to balance out the sweetness and to keep things lively.

Our best advice is to grab at least the Peppermint and the White Cheddar and have them ready for guests this season. Instant holiday cheer without any stress!
