The horses will be giving it their all, so why not give your best to your guests? You can have your own competition between the best cocktail! Everybody wins.
Classic Mint Julep
If you want to keep things classic, this is the cocktail recipe for you.
Leaves from 4-5 mint sprigs
2 sugar cubes or 1/2 ounce simple syrup
2 1/2 ounces Four Roses bourbon whiskey
Mint sprig for garnish
Place the mint and simple syrup or sugar into a julep cup.
Muddle the mint and sugar well to dissolve the sugar and to release the oil in the mint.
Pour in the 2 1/2 ounces of Four Roses bourbon.
Fill the glass with crushed ice and stir until the glass becomes frosty.
Garnish with the mint sprig.

Sweet Bourbon Sour
¾ oz. Sobieski Karamel Vodka
¾ oz. bourbon
1 oz. simple syrup
¾ oz. lemon juice
Ground cinnamon and cinnamon stick for garnish
Combine all of the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with ground cinnamon and a cinnamon stick and serve. Crafted by Kim Haasarud.
2 oz. Wild Turkey 81
1 oz. Wild Turkey American Honey
1.5 oz. Lemon Juice
Slap mint springs in palm of your hand to release oils. Tear them into pieces and add to shaker filled with all other ingredients and ice cubes. Shake vigorously. Pour over crushed ice and garnish with a sprig of mint.
Warsaw Mule (pictured above)
2 oz. Sobieski Vodka
3 oz. Ginger beer
Juice of half a lime
Add all the ingredients to a Warsaw Mule filled with ice and garnish with a lime wheel.
