Coroners Still Have Questions in Brittany Murphy's Death
The L.A. coroner’s office is not content with Brittany Murphy’s autopsy and toxicology reports. TMZ is reporting that Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter paid visit to Murphy’s husband and mother to get some questions answered.
One of the things the coroner wants to know about is why Brittany, who was obviously having health issues prior to her passing away, doesn’t have any record of visiting a doctor.
And then there’s the mysterious deliveries….
Sources tell TMZ a man who worked at Brittany Murphy’s house has told the Coroner’s Office that someone would deliver a sealed, manila envelope to the house every Friday filled with prescription medications in bottles. The name on the envelope — “Lola.”
Sources say the ex-employee told the Coroner drugs were also mailed from Los Angeles to Louisiana — where Brittany was shooting a movie and Simon was tagging along — in the months before she died.
Gee, I wonder what was in those envelopes!? That poor woman.
