Cocktail Thursday: “Beach Breeze” Sparkling Wine Cocktail Recipe #ThirstyThursday

VOGA Italia sparkling wine cocktail recipe

Bring on the sparkling cocktail! The Beach Breeze cocktail includes VOGA Italia sparkling wine, strawberries, lemon and mint. It really does not get more fun than this, and refreshing.

Beach Breeze

3 oz. VOGA Italia Sparkling

.75 oz. Strawberry Liqueur

2 oz. Strawberry Puree

0.5 oz Lemon Juice

1.5 Tsp. Sugar

Mint leaves for garnish

Combine VOGA Italia Sparkling, strawberry liqueur, strawberry puree, lemon juice and sugar in a glass. Stir and garnish with mint.

With its effervescence, and pink color, this bubbly strawberry cocktail would be a great cocktail to make a pitcher of if you are having a bridal shower, or bachelorette party. Put out any color decorations you like and let the Beach Breeze cocktail be the only pop of pink at the table.  It would also be great for brunch or just a nice backyard barbecue with the neighbors.

I have been adding fruit flavor and juices to my sparkling wine for years and I had never considered strawberries until now. Bellinis have peaches, and then there are mimosas with orange juice, but strawberries have their own deliciousness and it would be completely unexpected for your guests.

Bubbly cocktails with sparkling wine seem to be a top favorite as well as the sparkling club soda or tonic drinks.  Add a lime or lemon and just about everyone will be happy.  Keep a bottle of VOGA Italia on hand during this summer and you can have a variety of cocktails for you and your guest with just a few ingredients.  Luckily, you can also just open a bottle and enjoy it as it is.  Perfectly festive all on its own.

What kind of cocktails do you like having during the summer?
