Living in Southern California, it is nearly mandatory that we all celebrate, or at least raise a glass to our neighbors to the south trouncing the French on Cinco de Mayo.
Since we’ve been celebrating for so long we wanted to share our favorite recipes for Mexican inspired food and cocktails that we have collected over the years. We hope you enjoy!
The Food – Cinco De Mayo Taco Recipes!
Few things say “Fiesta” more than a table full of taco fixings. Whole national taco day is in October, that does not mean that we cannot use these three recipes for Cinco de Mayo.
FUNDIDO FIESTA FLATS – Fun finger food version of tacos, these little boats are filled with cheesey goodness. Um, yes please, can you just keep bringing these out on a conveyor? Thanks!
ZESTY FISH TACOS WITH CABBAGE AND TANGERINE SLAW – These are our favorite! The tangy tangerine slaw with the fish is simply delicious. Add a little chili powder and lime juice and you are all set.
