Cinco De Mayo Partida Breakfast Margarita Recipe
You read that right, today’s Cinco de Mayo cocktail recipe is the “Partida breakfast margarita”. Forget the idea that margaritas only have to be at night, the Partida breakfast margarita would be perfect for brunch on the weekends.
Can you imagine your friends’ faces when you serve these breakfast margaritas instead of mimosas at your next brunch? Kick up the fiesta vibe and serve poached eggs with salsa, breakfast burritos, or even egg enchiladas (trust me those are kind of amazing), and a ton of fresh fruit for everyone to munch on.
Cinco de Mayo Cocktail
Partida Breakfast Margarita
Created by Jacques Bezuidenhout
- 1 3/4 oz Partida Blanco Tequila
- 13/4 oz fresh lime juice
- 13/4 oz Cointreau
- 12 tsp. orange marmalade
- 11/2 oz agave syrup (1 part Partida Agave Nectar, 1 part water)
Add all the ingredients to a shaker and fill with ice. Shake, and strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with an orange slice.
This morning margarita will definitely be the talk of the party. No one else is serving these, yet, but you will be the one to introduce this brunch option to your circle of friends.
And just because it is a cocktail does not mean that you cannot be concerned about what goes into it. Your drink should be free of things that you do not want. Lucky for us, Partida Tequila is completely natural with no additives and no coloration. You deserve a better drink and to know what is going into it.
Enjoy your next brunch, or evening with friends with the Partida Breakfast Margarita!
