Happy Cinco de Mayo, y’all. Here in SoCal we have the joys of coastal Mexican inspired food and drink all year ’round. So while I love me a good margarita, how about we flip it a bit? The cucumber gives this cocktail a new freshness, and the chili powder brings the kick.
Make sure that if you have these tonight, that you have a sober burro to ride home.
New Cinco de Mayo Cocktail Recipe
1 ½ oz. Trianon Blanco Tequila
1 oz. agave nectar
1 oz. fresh squeezed lime juice
splash of orange liqueur
In a shaker, add ingredients and muddle cucumber slices. Add ice and shake. Strain into a chili powder rimmed glass. Garnish with cucumber slices and serve.
