4th Annual CoastFest is coming in July to Oceanside
Oceanside has one of the best beaches around in Southern California. It’s known for great surfing, movies have been filmed there, and lots and lots of visitors. With all of these people, there is also a lot of trash. Rubio’s Coastal Grill is hitting the beach again this year for CoastFest. This gives the community a chance to get together, clean up the beach, and enjoy a great day with food and music.
This year’s event is gearing up to be even bigger than the rest with the addition of performances by one of Billboard magazine’s chart-ranking artists, The Mowgli’s, as well as popular children’s band Hullabaloo. In addition to participating in a beach cleanup hosted by I Love a Clean San Diego, guests will be able to preview and sample food that is not yet on the Rubio’s menu, as well as enjoy a beer garden and a ton of educational and experiential activities. Woo!

There will be free onsite surf lessons, face painting, corn-hole, disc golf, etc. There will also be an exhibit from the California Surf Museum, pop-up gardens featuring fresh ingredients used in Rubio’s dishes, an outdoor cinema playing short films and a photo booth.
Now in its fourth year, CoastFest has become popular with Southern California residents as a way to give back and celebrate our ocean while enjoying live music, complimentary food and drinks and activities for attendees of all ages. CoastFest has continued to grow year after year, with a record turnout of more than 2,000 attendees and over 400 pounds of trash removed from the coastline in 2014.
CoastFest will take place on Saturday, July 18 in Oceanside, Calif.
If you are in the Oceanside area, stop by and enjoy the atmosphere, and some free tasty tacos from Rubio’s Coastal Grill. Yum!
