Mother’s Day Gifts

It is the same question every year, “What do we get Mom for Mother’s Day?” If you could only ask her. Well, someone did just that and they found out what moms really really REALLY want for Mother’s Day.

  • 50% of moms want flowers and brunch or dinner with their family.
  • 24% of moms would like a handmade gift.
  • 16% of moms prefer a spa visit.
  • 10% of moms are happy with a Mother’s Day card.

In the debate over what flowers to buy mom, the same survey easily uncovered that moms prefer a mixed floral arrangement filled with a variety of the season’s freshest blooms as compared to a dozen roses. Let dad get her the roses on their anniversary.

  • 41% prefer a mixed floral bouquet with the season’s freshest blooms.
  • 26% would like a flowering plant.
  • 18% selected a bouquet with roses.
  • 15% want a Mother’s Day bouquet with lilies.

I recently go the Artful Elegance bouquet and it is gorgeous. Filled with purples, whites and green from lilies, and roses, and other beautiful flowers, and even the vase is decroative with its swirls of color. You don’t have to be a mom to want to have this at home, but yours will sure to love it.

Northern California cities took the #1 and #10 spots making California the “Mom-Friendliest State” but Southern California was nowhere to be found. And hello Ohio congratulations on taking two spots as well!

If you’re like me and live in an area NOT in the top 10, maybe we should order more flowers for mom, and then take her to brunch.
