In honor of one of the BIGGEST parties of the year, Mardi Gras, I have cocktail recipes coming all weekend long. Today, this Southern California pinup is making Les Bontemps, a classic version of an Absinthe Suissesse. That’s right, this pinup is not just retro and vintage when it comes to clothes, I am bringing Absinthe back. The green fairy is finally legal in the United States, so let us celebrate!
Les Bontemps: A classic version of an Absinthe Suissesse
1 ½ oz. Sobieski Vodka
½ oz. Lucid Absinthe
½ oz. cream
½ oz. simple syrup
Add all ingredients in a shaker and shake vigorously without ice. Then, add ice into the shaker and shake
again. Strain and serve in a tall glass.
