Cooking comically by tyler capps recipes so easy youll actually make them

Ok, I have to say that THIS cook book is a must have for men or but due to language not for kids. LOL!

COOKING COMICALLY: Recipes So Easy You’ll Actually Make Them,  from Tyler Capps (Creator of CookingComicaly.com) is super fun, and easy. The whole cook book is presented comic book style. Easy (and funny) how-to pictures and directions in cells for each recipe.  It’s like Superman but with easy to make food!

It’s food made fun, and funny, presented in a silly easy to handle way. The recipes in the book ARE really so easy you’ll want to make them. All are also rated to difficulty and you’ll be hard pressed to find any that are high on the scale.

If you have a son, nephew, cousin, or a boyfriend who has a birthday, this is a great gift. It’s perfect for pretty much anyone–those unfamiliar with a kitchen (but need to be!), those on a budget, or just those who enjoy getting crafty with a spatula. Cooking Comically would also make a fun Christmas gift (it’ll be here before you know it).  It’s easy food, presented with a great sense of humor.

Grab your copy THIS OCTOBER 2013, but you can pre-order at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other book stores.

Mini-Safari In My Mug This Morning! Magnum Exotics Coffee

Magnum Exotics Coffee With Busy Bee Blogger MugMagnum Exotics Kona Blend Coffee With My Busy Bee Blogger Mug

If you have been reading my Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for any amount of time you know I have thing for coffee. I have it every day, but am always looking for a better cup.

For the last few weeks I have been trying out the new Magnum Exotics Kona Blend. This is a new coffee being sold at Bristol Farms here in SoCal and will be sold nationwide soon.

I have to say, I am really enjoying Magnum Exotics Kona Blend coffee. I have a very sensitive tummy, and anything too acidic causes havoc on me, even too much of my wonderful life giving coffee. The Kona Blend (the bag with the Toucan on the front) is quite easy to drink. The medium blend is smooth and easy on my tummy, and it still wakes me up in the morning, something that is tops on my list.  I can have a few cups and still go through my day.

Magnum Exotics Comes Ground Or Whole Bean

Magnum Taste of the Exotics coffees are all Fair Trade Products, committed to fair price, direct trade, community development, fair labor conditions, democratic and transparent organizations and environmental sustainability.

Now available up and down the coast in all Bristol Farms (locations here), Magnum Exotics are packaged in invitingly bright and adventurous four-corner sealed bags. Each distinctive blend features a toucan, lion, tiger or leopard that practically leaps off the shelf amid an otherwise subdued field of coffee packaging. Magnum Exotics’ Jamaican Blue Mountain Blend and Kona Blend are packaged ground (12 oz.). Organic Rainforest Blend and Organic Fogcutter debut in whole bean (10 oz.) and are both certified organic by Organic Crop Improvement Association (OCIA) International and USDA. With an MSRP of $9.99, all Magnum Exotics packaging features one-way valves to assure the specialty Arabica coffee is packaged after roasting so the freshness, fragrance and flavor of the select beans stay in the bag.

I’m gonna go and grab another cup and keep working here.  Why don’t you head to Bristol Farms and get yourself some Magnum Exotics for the morning.

The Muffin Mishap

pinup girl in a white dress with burned muffins in the kitchen

So, the other day, I was wandering through the grocery store looking for yummy things to have for breakfast. I snagged up some super moist looking banana nut muffins, thinking hmmmm these will be great with my coffee.

Eating the muffins was a different story. They seemed a little stale, and dry? But I just got them!!!!

Um, I got up and started looking for a Good Until Date. And then I saw it. In tiny print in the corner. My banana nut muffins were indeed VEGAN and WHEAT FREE.

Not that I don’t enjoy my vegan goodies, but I have to say, when you’re not expecting it, especially with baked goods, wheat free can be quite the surprise.

Oh well, they’re still here and I’m gonna have one for breakfast. :-)
