So one of the most snoozerific couples, Nicole Richie and one of the Madden boys (I can’t tell them apart) got married over the weekend. And since they have already been living together and have two kids together, all anyone is gossiping about is Nicole’s “Simple Life” BFF Paris Hilton not being there!
Paris was in Las Vegas getting her party on while Nicole was promising to be legally bound to her baby daddy. So what’s the deal?
“Nicole is in a very different place in her life from when she was hanging out with Paris. She’s the mother of two and now a wife while Paris seems to be in exactly the same spot she was in five years ago. Still partying in Vegas and getting into trouble with the law,”…
“The day was about Nicole and Joel, not Paris,” an insider tells me. “It was perfect. No drama, and definitely no drugs. It was 130 close family and friends enjoying each other’s company and celebrating the love between the newlyweds. Sources say that it was Paris’ latest drug arrest in Las Vegas that put it over the top. Oh Paris, you’re getting too old for this crap. And while Nicole is CERTAINLY no angel, she’s no longer getting arrested for DUI and drug use. That means she either hides it from view or has cleaned up her act, and I’m not going to venture a guess.
