Major Garrett Grills Gibbs?

I will never ever envy White House press secretary Gibbs. He has one of the most difficult jobs in the world trying to explain things that he must not really understand, and he gets hits with questions he hates.

Today, Major Garrett wanted to know how people who had never signed up for emails from the White House were receiving emails from the White House. It got pretty spirited. And anyone could see that Gibbs was not having any of it. I wonder if he just wants to run out of the room on occasion.

Fox News' double on If You Seek Amy

When Britney Spears released her latest single ‘If You Seek Amy’ Fox news was all a twitter, and no not the social network site. Megyn Kelly was especially upset, and she went on a few of the shows, other than the one she co-hosts in the morning America’s Newsroom. She was SO outspoken, that it seemed that Britney Spears’ people wanted to play off of the momentum in her video.

Supposedly Brit’s people DENIED that Megyn Kelly was the inspiration for the ‘newswoman’ at the beginning of the video, but in the above clip, the woman who PLAYED the newswoman in the If you seek Amy video, says different.

Ptsss. I'm going to pass out

For those of you who don’t know who Glenn Beck is, he used to have his news commentary show on CNN, and now he’s on FOX. Glenn likes to have good guests on who know more than he does and today one of his guests was a good friend of his, David Buckner. Poor Poor David, decided that things were a little too serious on the show and decided to take a little nap on the floor. Ok, he simply passed the eff out! ON LIVE TV!!!!

David DID whisper to Glenn, “I’m gonna pass out”, and it looked like Glenn thought he was joking about the financial situation, so they kept going. It’s that kind of show, a lot of jokes are made to lighten the mood half the time. You can see David start to bob and weave, and Glenn realizes he’s not joking about the economy anymore, and BAM! Studio Floor, meet David’s face.

What gets me is the people all standing around poor David (and Glenn) like “It’s not my problem”. Glenn even says “Can I get some help here?” and one comes over like he’s being put upon. WTF PEOPLE! The man passed out of set! Get it in gear.

Later Glenn did say that David was being tending to by medical professionals, and had been sick earlier in the morning.

So the lesson is, don’t whisper that you’re going to pass out the first time you say it. Ask for a chair, and yell it from the mountain tops…. Hope you’re ok David.
