You remember this P.O.S. Adnan Ghalib? Well, now that his divorce has been finalized, the former paparazzi is back in court facing jail time.

Weathering the storm of criticism over manipulating Britney Spears was the just the beginning of legal strife for former photographer Adnan Ghalib, who visited a Van Nuys courthouse Tuesday afternoon, September 29, 2009. After pleading not guilty to assaulting a process server who was trying to give him legal papers in the Spears conservatorship case, Ghalib was in court today to find out if he would be sentenced. He was facing felony assault with a deadly weapon, battery and hit and run charges and could serve up to seven years behind bars if convicted. Ghalib was vilified after Britney Spears confided in him during her most erratic and vulnerable time and was bound by a restraining order after the conservatorship was set in place.
I thought he was being deported…. jail will be good enough though. THEN send him back home.

Although I don’t think I would want my parents in charge of my money and day to day living, I think this is the super good news. Britney Spears’ dad Jamie is STILL in charge of her estate. YAY!!
Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz said
“Regarding the conservatorship of the person, I understand that Ms. Spears is reluctantly agreeing to extend those letters,” Goetz said. “We are extending them until Dec. 31, 2008.”
I know she wants her freedom, but Britney, daddy seems to be doing a better job than you were by yourself.
There WILL be another hearing October 28th to see how things are going.
