VIDEO: Chris Isaak on Favorite Cities and Crazy Fans

Singer Chris Isaak is out on tour again, or still depending on how you look at it, promoting his new album “Live At the Filmore”. He stopped by the Access Hollywood studios where he talked about his favorite city to play, crazy fans, and future acting!

And just so you know, that fan who hid in his garage was not me. That’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it.

Tom Jones Illness Cancels Concerts

If you were hoping to see Sir Tom Jones in concert this weekend, you’re out of luck. The “What’s New Pussycat” singer had to cancel his Singapore concerts due to illness. But what type?

“Acute laryngitis,” declared Jones’ Web site. Physicians are “unable to guarantee that Sir Tom would be able to perform the full show tonight at 100 percent vocal strength,” said the site, despite efforts to rest his voice and the rescheduling of his concert until Thursday.

The vocal problems are serious enough that concerts on Friday and Saturday at the Olympic Fencing Stadium in Seoul have also been cancelled. “In addition, they have warned that by performing, Sir Tom could risk serious permanent damage to his vocals,” said the site.

But there is some hope. Future performances in Oman’s Muscat, South Africa’s Johannesburg and Cape Town, and the United Arab Emirates’ Abu Dhabi are set for April and are expected to go forward as scheduled. [Popeater]

Now, if you can’t make it to see Sir Tom Jones in concert, you can always buy his latest album 24 Hours.

Chris Isaak Returns to the US! Tour Dates Announced

He may have been Europe’s darling for the past few months, but Chris Isaak is returning to the USA for another tour. He did the first leg of his US tour last year in support of his Mr. Lucky CD.

I cannot wait to see him at Humphrey’s in San Diego. At least, I hope I can go this year.

In other Isaak news, he will also be performing on the Glen Campbell farewell album, and will be one of many performers at the Kenny Rogers 50 years celebration.

Chris Isaak heads Back to the UK!

Ahhh you thought that I had given up on Chris Isaak didn’t you?  He may have snubbed us on his trip to San Diego,  but we’ll just keep on trying.

The singer is headed back to the UK in June!

Chris Isaak will perform this year in Uk. His Tour is confirmed on Sunday, June 13, 2010.

Chris puts on one heck of a show, and if you are expecting a sentimental slob you are in for a shock. It’s a very adult show, without being too blue.

If you get tickets let us know!

I Have My Olympic Tickets!

4 more sleeps….

So I just went and picked up my tickets for the one event I’m attending. Here they are….
And here’s the irony… it’s for a victory ceremony where they are not giving out any medals and the musical entertainment is a band from Wales (the Stereophonics). I guess you all might of thought that I’d be attending lots of the sporting events… you were wrong. Getting hold of tickets hasn’t been the easiest thing especially for the more popular events like ice hockey (this is Canada after all). Tickets for the gold medal game have been changing hands for tens of thousands of dollars with people banking on Canada being in that game. It’s Gold or nothing for the Canadian public when it comes to Ice Hockey and I would not like to be on that team with all the pressure.
Oh and I’m working on tickets for the opening ceremony dress rehearsal on Wednesday. I’ll let you know if I’m successful.
J.
