SCREW YOU ANGEL OF DEATH! The incomparable Rue McClanahan has passed away. She was surrounded by family.
“She passed away at 1 a.m. this morning,” her manager, Barbara Lawrence, tells PEOPLE. She had a massive stroke.”
Lawrence added that at the time of her death Thursday, McClanahan “had her family with her. She went in peace.”
I’m going to turn on Oxygen and the Hallmark channel and OD on Golden Girls today. I miss you already Rue.

Just five months since her death, Brittany Murphy‘s husband, Simon Monjack, died in the home they shared together. And it looks like they will be spending eternity together as well. People close to the family are saying that Simon wanted to be buried next to Murphy.
“That was definitely his wish,” says spokesman Roger Neal. “It’s safe to say that wish will be fulfilled.” [People]
Simon was found dead of an apparent heart attack by Brittany’s mother, Sharon Murphy. It was Sharon that also found her daughter in the shower the day she died. That poor woman.
Simon Monjack is to be buried in a private ceremony today (May 27) at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles.

OMG what a terrible thing to wake up to! Actress/singer Brittany Murphy has died at the age of 32.
Earlier this morning, Brittany’s MOTHER, who found her unconscious in the shower. Brittany’s husband, Simon Monjack, was the one who called 911. By the time paramedics got there, she was in full cardiac arrest, and did CPR all the way to Cedars Sinia Hospital in Los Angeles. The hospital says that she died at 10:04 this morning.
The actress’s rep, Nicole Perna, said in a statement Sunday afternoon, “In this time of sadness, the family thanks you for your love and support. It is their wish that you respect their privacy.”
Brittany’s former boyfriend (rumored ex-fiance), Ashton Kutcher, took to his Twitter account to talk about his ex.
2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany’s family, her husband, & her amazing mother Sharon.
see you on the other side kid.
Brittany starred in Clueless, and along side Angelna Jolie in Girl Interrupted. And I even loved her in that silly film Ramen Girl.
And while others may be speculating on what took her, BBB will let her rest for at least one day.
How incredibly tragic.

This is one post that I really didn’t want to write. Actor Patrick Swayze has passed away at the age of 57. He had been fighting a battle against pancreatic cancer for almost two year, and finally lost this morning.
“Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months,”
Swayze was not only a talented acotor, starring in Dirty Dancing, Ghost, and To Wong Foo Thanks For Everything Julie Newmar, but a gifted dancer and athlete as well.
In an interview with Barbara Walters shortly after announcing he had cancer she asked him, as his wife Lisa sat by his side, if he was scared.
“There’s a lot of fear here. Yeah, I’m scared. Yeah, I’m angry. Yeah, I’m [asking], ‘Why me?’ “
Swayze never gave up the fight, though, continuing to work on his A&E show “The Beast” even during chemotherapy sessions.
He will be missed.

Nice months since the death of their son Jett, John Travolta his wife Kelly Preston and daughter Ella Bleu made their first public appearance to promote their new movie in Anaheim, CA. The Travoltas appeared at the D23 Expo, a Disney exhibition of new movies, in order to promote Old Dogs, which stars all three members of the family. It is also Ella Bleu’s big screen debut. Old Dogs also stars Robin Williams.
John Travolta reportedly told the awaiting crowd that he appreciated how much the audience loved him as an actor. He went on to say he hoped they loved “Old Dogs” as much as he did because it has his “baby”, Ella Bleu, in it.
While wife Kelly has stepped out in public in the past few months to film The Last Song with Miley Cyrus, John has kept to himself, grieving in private.
In January, their 16 year old son Jett died of a seizure while on vacation.
