Lindsay Lohan Might BAIL On Rehab Because Of Cigarettes

I try to stay away from celebrity rumors too much on here as of late, but this whole Lindsay Lohan going to rehab (and/or jail) fiasco is just something I have to talk about. Why? Because as a resident of California I find it both a breath of fresh air and appalling that our legal system is being exposed as the biggest waste of time. Uggg.

Apparently little red haired LL doesn’t want to go to the rehab center she’s signed up for. Why? Because she’s a spoiled brat and she can’t get her way. In less than a day, LL is supposed to arrive at Seafield Center in New York, but she’s looking to get out of it because they won’t let her smoke there. Uhhhh it’s a rehab center, and cigarettes are an addiction, right? Just like booze? Anyway…

Lohan is apparently throwing a diva fit and saying if she can’t have her ciggies like a truck stop waitress then, pshh, she’s not going. Nope she wants to go to Morning Side Recovery here in SoCal. Yeah, she went there a few years ago, too. See how good it is? (Coincidentally, I have been seeing more commercials for Morningside on my junkfood TV shows recently. Maybe they’re offering to comp LL’s “treatment” for exposure?) I do find it odd that she would be able to smoke at Morningside since you can’t smoke anywhere in Socal, not even bars.

Now, LL and her ding bat of a lawyer have not informed the courts in Los Angeles or Santa Monica that she may not be checking in at Seafield Center. Oopsie. But don’t worry, this is California, nothing will happen.

How Your Wine Is Made, Pressing Grapes At Fifty Barrels Winery #weekwithilx

In my week that was full of luxury, heated seats anyone?, I used my voice activated map on the ILX (once I figured it out) to head out and see just how my favorite wine was made.

The men of Fifty Barrels Winery let me into the barrel room to watch them press the grapes for their Cabernet.

It turns out, that the pressing and making of wine has not changed too much, ever. The press is filled with grapes (after sitting in their bins for about two weeks) and then they are squished. Plain and simple. There is a pump that brings the juice into a giant container, and the press has a giant air bladder that fills with air. Other than that, it’s all done by hand.

Once the holder is filled with the juice, it will eventually go into barrels for about 18 months. Then we get to drink it!

Of course, I think they simplified a few of the steps for me to get the basic idea. But I was fascinated watching how it all works.

Early Morning Run with the ILX

My most favorite thing to do in the morning, is go for a run with Dad Bee on the coast. The earlier the better, that way I don’t have to deal with too much traffic or other people running/biking on the coast. And the sunrises are great.

I took the ILX up to the beach and parked on the cliffs overlooking the waves. Not a bad way to start my morning. The ILX is lower than my SUV, so seeing over the guard rail was a little harder, but I won’t complain too much.

My new early morning life saver has to be this little button. The seat warmer!!! I have never had a luxury vehicle before, so it took me a minute to figure out what this did. Let me tell you, this thing is the best on cold mornings for my tight legs and sore back. It doesn’t get so hot for me to fall back to sleep, but it’s just warm enough to keep my legs from freezing up before my nice early sun free runs.

Lindsay Lohan will dodge jail time, or why I hate the court system in California

I may live in this state, but that doesn’t mean that I agree with this crap-o-la. According to TMZ, Lindsay Lohan will be able to get out of jail time for her parole violation (testing positive for cocaine) yet again.

Lindsay Lohan's $1 Million Radio Gig?

Lindsay Lohan has a new million dollar job offer!

Now that she’s free from jail and rehab Lindsay Lohan already has a new job offer on the table.

LONG ISLAND based radio station Party 105 is offering ONE MILLION DOLLARS to Lindsay and her MOMMY MANAGER Dina to join it’s nationally syndicated morning show. Lindsay and Dina would talk about fashion tips and entertainment news. There is also an ADVICE hotline where listeners could call in and ask questions.

I don’t know if asking Dina and Lindsay life advice is the best idea. Unless it’s how to put the blame on someone else for being 12 hours late to a photo shoot, or how to make money off my children.

Mommy Dina did say that she wanted to get Lindsay back to New York once she was out of rehab, so this may a real possibility for them. And Lindsay doesn’t have a record in NY so that’s good for a fresh start.
