The end of the year leads to engagements and breakups. Luckily for John Legend and his girlfriend Chrissy Teigen, they got engaged!!

“John Legend and his girlfriend, model Chrissy Teigen, got engaged over the holidays while vacationing in the Maldives,” Legend’s rep, Cindi Berger, tells PEOPLE.

There are no details other than that. Nothing about the ring, or statement from John or Chrissy themselves. No picture of them cuddling a la Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves.

Congrats to the couple.

But on another note, did anyone see the episode of Mad Fashion with Chrissy Teigen headed to the met Ball? She kept saying that John had to OK everything she wore. Really? REALLY??

I’ve always liked this song, but I watched that slow burn of a movie “The Lincoln Lawyer” with cabana boy the other night, and it closed out the final scene. I got busted grooving along to it.

AND Target is using it in their new Vintage Varsity commercial. I want to hang out with whoever they have doing their ad campaigns now. They music is just getting better and better.
