It is officially spring, but parts of the country are still a little colder than others.
Why not chase away the chill with a classic Cognac drink, the Sidecar, and a little Dita Von Teese doesn’t hurt either to warm things up

1 oz Cointreau
1 1/2 oz Remy martin V.S.O.P. Cognac
1/2 oz Fresh lemon juice

I don’t know whose idea this is, but I like it. It’s National Margarita Day!!!
How do you like your’s. Lime, strawberry, watermelon, skinny, salt, no salt?
Here’s one of my favorite recipes. The MargaDita designed by Dita Von Teese and Cointreau. ENJOY!
To make your own Cointreau MargaDita:
1.5 oz Cointreau
1.5 oz Silver Tequila
1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
1/2 oz Monin Rose Syrup
1 pinch Chipotle Spice
Mix all ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously and pour into a chilled coup glass. Garnish with floating organic yellow rose petals. For an added kick, add a chipotle and salt rim.

This woman is branching herself out WAY beyond being the queen of the new burlesque. In addition to
promoting her own brand of dresses, and perfume, Dita Von Teese is super busy performing her duties as Cointreau’s spokeswoman.
Today, Dita was in Milan promoting her latest collaboration with Cointreau. The coffret of her “Travel Essentials”, a Cointreau centered bar on the go, if you will, all tucked neatly in a classic hat box. My favorite item in the entire kit is an “atomizer” (see here) that looks just like an old school perfume bottle that is used to subtly add Cointreau to any cocktail. *love it*

Dita and Cointreau have designed a coffret for the Cointreau-versial glamor girl on the go. The kit of Dita’s “Travel Essentials” will be available in the US in November, but you can purchase in Europe now. (Hint, I want one for Christmas)
