Um, yeah. It’s not a joke. A theatre company in Ireland is doing a comedy based on the life of soccer star David Beckham and Spice Girl Victoria Beckham. In the musical, Posh is an ambitious Lady Macbeth and David gives up his soccer career for her.
“We’re very excited by the script,” says Ronan Smith of Long Road Productions, which is behind the staging of the satirical sing-song affair. “It borrows from Shakespeare’s Macbeth, King Lear and Romeo & Juliet.”
There’ no word if Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes make an appearance though.
I don’t know… I’m sure if my friends were going to see this, I’d tag along. It could be quite funny, in the satire sort of way.
It’s so hard being fabulous. Even Victoria Beckham needs to take a break once in while. Posh was caught out on the balcony during a photo shoot this weekend in LA. At least she’s not smoking like a lot of models and actresses would be.
And she looks mellow and relaxed. She can’t be “on” all the time.

Yeah, I didn’t think so. Maybe it was the end of the day… or maybe they just don’t get it.
After debuting her jean line in London Victoria Beckham returns to L.A. I must say I do love her jacket. I don’t think I could pull it off, but skinny Barbie here sure does.
