While we’re all looking back at the end of 2008 I thought I would give my own favorite entertainment moment.

While I loved Britney Spears’ comeback, Lady Gaga breaking on the scene, Mike Rowe making People’s Sexy List, Sarah Palin, and the Sex and the City Movie.

My favorite moment in 2008, was on that awful morning show, the Today Show’s 4th hour. Sam the Cooking Guy was there to promote his new book “Just a Bunch of Recipes”, and he did what no one else had ever done before: told Kathy Lee to “please be quiet!” The event even got him a return visit a week later!!!

Ahhh, the best … moment… EVER!!!!

(Yes the same Sam who told Kathy Lee Gifford to shut her trap on National TV! video here) Sam’s show has been called “How to get laid for men”. It’s easy food, but it will impress your date, wife, hubby, family, WHOEVER! If he can do it, you can do it.

This set includes the fab-u-lous “Ball Park Food” episode. Wings, hot dogs, fry things? Heck yea! EAT IT!

Sam the cooking guy, back on Today

Lordy Lordy Lordy. Sam the Cooking guy was BACK on the Today show… and it couldn’t have been more 1) Awkward, and 2) BORING!!!!!

The Today Show brought in an ETIQUETTE professional to mediate between Sam and Kathy Lee Gifford. Really? Are we doing this? Kathy did nothing but make Sam UNCOMFORTABLE the entire time. She was feeling his armpits while he was trying to cook.

I still think Sam came out on top. He was on 101.5 KGB the other day, and said he wasn’t going to apologize, and he didn’t. Love you Sam… You’re still a hero.
