So, Kim Kardashian is doing a big publicity push right now, for some unknown reason. She was just on Jay Leno, and last night she was promoting something Kardashian related (I don’t care enough to see what it was. I hear it’s a KK perfume, but I don’t care).
Anyway, KK was on the red carpet being photographed and being famous for… I don’t know what, when she was flour bombed by an “anti-fur” protester. Yeah, ok, sure. I’m thinking it was just another fame wh*re wanting attention, but they’re claiming it was an anti fur statement since KK likes her animal skins.
A rep for the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals tells TMZ … “It was not [us]. We were given the video by an anti-fur activist on the scene.”
Still, a rep for the organization explains, “PETA has tried everything from polite letters to public protests, but Kim Kardashian has not been moved by the news that animals are beaten, electrocuted, and even skinned alive for real fur garments. Whoever threw that flour may reach her when our polite appeals did not.”
While I got a giggle about KK getting flour bombed, doing stunts like this doesn’t make me want to give up fur. I liken it to the anti-same sex marriage people. Listen, if you don’t want to wear fun, don’t YOU wear it. But that’s just me.
