It may have been 30 years ago, but I guess it’s better late than never. The Los Angeles Sheriff has reopened the case looking into the death of actress Natalie Wood.
On November 29th, 1981, Natalie was on a boat at Catalina Island with her husband, actor Robert Wagner and a co-star of hers Christopher Walken, when she allegedly fell overboard and drowned.
But, according to the LA Sheriff the case is being investigated as a possible homicide due to someone coming forward with new information.
“Recently Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators were contacted by persons who stated they had additional information about the Natalie Wood Wagner drowning. Due to the additional information, Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau has decided to take another look at the case,” wrote sheriff’s officials.
So what new information came forward? It seems the captain of the boat is saying that Robert Wagner, her husband, is somehow responsible for Natalie’s death!!
We will just have to wait and see what comes of this.
It is being reported that Libyan leader Muammar al-Qaddafi has been killed.
Libyan strongman Muammar Qaddafi is dead, Prime Minister Mahmoud Jibril has confirmed.
“We have been waiting for this moment for a long time. Muammar Qaddafi has been killed,” Jibril told a news conference in the capital Tripoli.
Qaddafi died of wounds suffered during his capture near his hometown of Sirte on Thursday, Reuters and Sky News reported. Libyan leaders have informed the United States that Qaddafi is dead, according to an unidentified U.S. official who said Libya’s National Transitional Council (NTC) is expected to officially announce his death soon. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the U.S. could independently confirm Qaddafi’s death.
“Qaddafi is dead. He is absolutely dead … he was shot in both legs and in the head. The body will be arriving in Misrata soon,” media spokesman Abdullah Berrassali told Sky News. [Fox]
When asked about the report, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton could NOT confirm that the Libyan tyrant was actually dead.
U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said her department was still attempting to confirm the reports.
“[We] can’t confirm Qaddafi’s capture or death but if it’s true, it’s a big sigh of relief,” Clinton told FOX News White House correspondent Wendell Goler, who is traveling with her in Pakistan. “One more obstacle removed but we still have a steep climb ahead.”
The Libyan leader was long thought of as a tyrant and it does not seem that the world will miss him. But, nature abhors a vacuum. And just because HE is gone, does not necessarily mean that things will get better for the people of Libya. Now that Qaddafi is gone, who or what will take his place?

So, um, you know that great big satellite that was set to splash into the ocean tomorrow and completely miss all of us? Haha, just joking. It may be headed straight for North America. NASA released a statement that was as noncommittal as my last boyfriend when addressing the fiery ball of death headed straight for us.
“The satellite’s orientation or configuration apparently has changed, and that is now slowing its descent,” NASA officials wrote in a status update Friday morning. “There is a low probability any debris that survives re-entry will land in the United States, but the possibility cannot be discounted because of this changing rate of descent.”
“Re-entry is expected late Friday, Sept. 23, or early Saturday, Sept. 24, Eastern Daylight Time,” NASA officials wrote. “Solar activity is no longer the major factor in the satellite’s rate of descent.” [via FOX]
To celebrate our impending death, I say we all get together tonight and pretend we’re Lindsay Lohan on a GOOD day. Lots of friends, music, and eating. Lots of eating. And U2/Lou Reed will provide the soundtrack.
