Now please excuse me, I’m going to jump off a bridge. I can’t take this any longer.

DEV Gets “Naked” With Enrique Iglesias -Video

Who wants to go to Vegas? After watching the new video by DEV and Enrique Iglesias, I want to head back to Planet Hollywood and get dressed up and go dancing.  Yeah that’s right, I want to do THIS again…

Or maybe this…

DEV and Enrique sing “Naked” through the hallways, elevators, and the dance clubs at PH, with product placement from Calvin Klein makeup and of course adult beverages in the club. Those sneaking promotional people ;-)

It’s Britney, right foot blue, b!tch, Teams Up With Twister Dance! [Video]

Our darling Britney is just finding all sorts of way to rake in the cash isn’t she? Following in Katy Perry’s footsteps (did I just say that?) my favorite pop tart has teamed up with Twister for their new dance game. It’s like most other dance video games but there are lighted dots on the ground hence the Twister tie in.

“Dancing has been such an important part of my life since I was a little girl,” Brit Brit has said. “As soon as I saw the new Twister Dance game, I knew I wanted to be involved. I think kids will love rocking the spots and dancing to the music as much as my boys and I do. It’s a lot of fun!” [JustJared]

The Beatles 2.0?

You know how every 5 years or so, there’s a new rock band out of the UK and they call them the new Beatles? Well, this time, it may be true.

Paul McCartney’s son, 34 year old James McCartney, was promoting his own music when he dropped the idea that the sons of the Fab Four would/could/maybe start their own band. A reboot if you will.

“I don’t think it’s something that Zak wants to do. Maybe Jason would want to do it,” McCartney said, referring to Zak and Jason Starkey, Ringo Starr’s sons. “I’d be up for it. Sean [Lennon] seemed to be into it, Dhani [Harrison] seemed to be into it. I’d be happy to do it.”

When pressed on whether or not the band realistically could happen, McCartney said, “Yeah, hopefully, naturally. I don’t know, you’d have to wait and see. The will of God, nature’s support, I guess. So yeah, maybe.” [THR]

Dhani is a talented guitar player like his dad George, and even looks just like him, frighteningly so. The Starr boys are also talented drummers, both having successful careers in music, already. But, Sean? Not so much. I know some people want to tell me he has his own “successful” music career, but who are you trying to fool?  What about JULIAN!? You know, John’s son who IS FREAKING TALENTED that no one seems to talk about?!?!

This would be a good novelty band, but I doubt they’d be any good playing together. Plus everyone would want them to be just like their dads. And we all know how well that goes, right Julian?

The Fray Tried To Sing The National Anthem [VIDEO]

So, um, last night, before the Kentucky – Kansas NCAA title game last night, The Fray decided to do what we are assuming is the National Anthem. It was very special… oh who am I kidding it was not good.

The Denver rock band tried to rework the 198-year-old song into a modern hipster version and failed in every respect. Finger-picking mood guitar, emo vocals and a guy doing his best impersonation of a Civil War drummer boy make not for a fine anthem. If you weren’t listening to the lyrics, you’d have never known the band was singing our national anthem. [Yahoo Sports]

I don’t know why “artists” think that they need to screw with The National Anthem. Just go in, do a good job, DON’T do vocal gymnastics, then leave. TADA!
