Earlier this week (Wednesday October 26) Boardwalk Empire star Michael Pitt joined Esquire and Tanqueray to celebrate the launch of the 5th anniversary of Big Black Book. Pitt mixed and mingled with VIPs of the fashion world to celebrate style as they enjoyed signature Tanqueray cocktails. Marky Ramone, and Jamie Bochert were also on hand to help celebrate Esquire’s Big Black Book.
Esquire’s Big Black Book is currently on shelves – check out Pitt’s Tonight We Tanqueray spread on page 57. As the face of Tanqueray’s new brand platform, Pitt joins Tanqueray to celebrate the excitement and intrigue that evenings can bring.

I just picked up Esquire’s Big Black Book yesterday, and I love a good men’s lifestyle read. But this, is just beyond. If you know any men that need some help, or just want to be a little more polished, this is the magazine this month to give them. VERY helpful, and beautifully shot, too.
You and I may be quite pleased to see the outcome, but Vancouver Canucks hockey player, Ryan Kesler, has already received a good natured ribbing from his team mates for his naked photo in ESPN’s Body Issue.
“I think everybody has seen it by now,” defenceman Kevin Bieksa(notes) said. “It’s on the wallpaper on one of the computers in the [players'] lounge, so it’s out there now. I don’t think he is ever going to live this one down.” [yahoo]
And now, Kesler is the brunt of Vancouver based women’s yoga clothing giant LuluLemon’s spoof. Ambassador, Erin Anderson, stripped down to do her own spoof of Kesler’s ESPN pose and it’s all over the LuluLemon website.
I really hope he has a good sense of humor about this, because it’s kind of awesome.
No joking here. This is Mad Men‘s Christina Hendricks in Playboy!!!! The famously curvy redhead was less curvy, and donned a platinum blond wig for this 1999 shoot about… shooters (drinks that is). Christina is the girl all the way on the right if you couldn’t tell.
Even dressed up as a naughty cupie doll, she’s still the HBIC.

That’s right little bees, former Girl Next Door, Kendra Wilkinson WILL be in the December 2010 issue of Playboy! And the new momma got the coveted spot of the COVER! Ah, but I can hear you asking “But, Bee, didn’t she and Hank talk about her NOT being in Playboy again on her show, Kendra, this weekend?” That would be true, so Kendra took to her site to clear the air.
Hey guys! So I wanted to clear something up really quick! A lot of you saw on my show that I was struggling to decide whether to pose for Playboy again or not. I AM on the December cover of Playboy but it wasn’t from a recent shoot. The photos are from a shoot I did 2 years ago when I was still living in the mansion. I’m flattered to be on the cover again and as you all know Playboy has a very special place in my heart! I just wanted you guys to know I didn’t recently pose.
So there you have it. Pics that are pre-Hank Baskett, and pre-wedding, and pre-baby. But good for you for getting the paycheck for pics that are 2 years old! Get it gurl!

Oooh dear. It’s never a good thing when the editor of a magazine has to apologize for putting someone on the cover. But that is just what the editor of Shape Magazine, editor-in-chief Valerie Latona, is doing. It seems that many of her readers did NOT think that LeAnn Rimes was appropriate to be their cover girl.
“You are all in good company…as you all agree Shape has made a terrible mistake in putting LeAnn Rimes on the cover,” Latona explained. “Please know that our putting her on the cover was not meant to put a husband-stealer on a pedestal-but to show (through her story) how we all are human. And this woman in particular found strength in exercise in what she said was her most difficult personal moment.”
“it did not come across that way…And for that I’m terribly sorry. I hope that we can do better the next time for those of you that will give us another chance.”[via US]
So, just what got Shape readers’ panties in a twist? Maybe it was LeAnn talking about just why she had an affair with fellow married actor,Eddie Cibrian, and then left her husband.
“My relationship with Dean was great, but ultimately it wasn’t a fulfilling marriage for either of us,” Rimes, 28, told the mag. “I understand why people are disappointed in me, especially since I grew up as America’s sweetheart.”
I find it interesting that LeAnn gets rejected, but Angelina Jolie still sells magazines.
