The lucky auction winner will be treated to even more than just succulent fixings with his or her favorite vampires. A visit to the True Blood set and time to meet Alexander Skarsgard and Kristen Bauer are also part of the prize package. The money raised will go to the family of a crew member who died during the filming of an upcoming episode.
The special date is to raise money for the family of Jesse James Cartwright, who died while filming the fourth episode of the current True Blood season, I’m Alive And On Fire. The episode was later dedicated to him when it aired on HBO.
Transportation crew member, Jesse, left behind a wife and three children. According to the show’s producers, Cartwright was beloved by every True Blood team member and now the staff, cast and fans are uniting forces to raise funds and awareness for Jesse’s family. [RadarOnline]
