Here it is, the first commercial for Dita Von Teese’s lingerie line “Von Follies”.
This GORGEOUS retro inspired line is being exclusively for Target Austrailia (at least for now).
Von Follies by Dita Von Teese was inspired by Dita’s long-time love of lingerie and her own personal collection of vintage lingerie. The launch range combines sophistication and sensuality with glamorous touches such as grosgrain and velvet ribbons, delicate eyelash lace, and control mesh to give the essence of the sultry 1950′s pin up girl.
True to Dita’s signature style, the collection encapsulates an iconic vintage feel including a personal favorite of Von Teese’s, the over-wire bra, as well as high waisted briefs, garter belts, and lovely chemises. Each item enhances the feminine silhouette that Von Teese is world renowned for representing.
Dita explains “It was important to me to accomplish the task of making these beautiful things in sizes that can make any woman feel sexy and glamorous, and I’m very proud that we have been able to do that, while keeping prices affordable.” [Ditavonteese]
The line will be available globally later this year, and I cannot wait. My entire paycheck is going to be gone in the blink of an eye.
Sweetie, darling, kiss kiss. Guess who’s starring in their own ad campaign, and it’s Absolutely Fabulous.
Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley are taking on their AbFab personas Patsy and Edina once again. This time it’s for the Fall/Winter 2012 Alexis Bittar campaign.
I have behind the scene video of their photo shoot, and I am so happy these two are back. I <3 Edina and Patsy.
I may not be all that fashionable, but I love fashion. These shots of Atelier Versace are beautiful. But they remind me a lot of Alexander McQueen’s last line right before he passed away.
This morning Atelier Versace held a gorgeous presentation at l’Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris.
A metallic flower opening up, glistening and gleaming in gold and crystals. The shapes of the dresses are formed by gold metal petals, sculpting the body, creating a 3D quality to shoulders and necklines. A new interpretation of lace echoes this sculptural quality with laser-cut silk and plastic laminate formed into abstract floral patterns. The biker jacket, a signature design of the house, is reworked in gold leather, while transparent lace, encrusted with crystals, exudes a sensual allure. Gold and silver in tones of champagne and pearl grey are injected with shots of vivid orange and acid green, a rich cocktail of the dramatic Versace palette.
And a good morning to you, too! Calvin Klein just released a “behind” the scenes video of their photo shoot for Men’s Bold Underwear shoot Spring 2012.
