We’ve started yet another Hollywood trend. First it was knitting, now, bee keeping. (Don’t laugh at me!)
We have to give props where they are due. Our friend I Need My Fix, posted this video of Ryan Reynolds discussing bee keeping while visiting David Letterman, on her website and I was really excited!
Ryan explained that he and wife, Scarlett Johansson, didn’t ask for wedding gifts, but one arrived to their house while he was home one day. Samuel L. Jackson had sent over a few suits, and a box of 10,000 bees.
They even show off some pics of Ryan, in the suit playing with his new girlfriends. And he’s right, they ARE the best security system around.
Promoting his new movie “Knowing” Nicolas Cage arrived at Late Night with David Letterman today! He seems a little taken a back by the photographer outside of the theatre as he signed autographs for awaiting fans.
In addition to “Knowing” Cage has SEVEN other movies in the works! I guess little Kal-El needs his college fund taken care of.
Comedian Russell Brand (and his hair) is back on this side of the Atlantic, this time promoting his new book “My Booky Wook” on The Late Show with David Letterman. He always has a little too much to say that most American’s don’t get, MTV VMAs anyone? So I wonder how well this book will do over here. Amazon has this on the book
Russell Brand learned early on to make a joke of fear and failure. From a troubled childhood in industrial Essex, England, to his descent into addictions to alcohol, drugs, and sex in the seamy underbelly of London, Brand has seen his share of both and miraculously lived to tell the tale. In My Booky Wook he leads readers on a rollicking journey through his disastrous school career, his infamous antics on MTV, and his multifarious sexual adventures. But this irreverent memoir is a story not simply of struggle but also of redemption, a testament to the difficulty of discovering what you want from life and the remarkable power of a bloody-minded determination to get it. My Booky Wook is a giddy trip through the brilliant mind of one of Britain’s most valuable exports.
Russell also has a new special on Comedy Centeral Russell Brand In New York City and I highly recommend you see it… here’s a taste
So, I guess Mary Kate Olsen is taking this whole acting thing serious. She is out promoting a new film, The Wackness, and made her way to Late Night With David Letterman last night.
Somehow the conversation got turned to Spencer Pratt, from the Hills. It seems that MK and Spencer went to high school together. Who knew? After Letterman asked MK if Spencer was wormy and she agreed, she had this to say
“He does not have a good temper,” added Olsen, who was promoting her new indie The Wackness. “He walked out of a few [soccer] games. He would walk off the field. He was like, ‘Me or the coach!’”
Asked if they were friends at the time, Olsen said, “No.”
I don’t know which is more surprising. MK went to a real school, Spencer played soccer, or that she remembered who he was.
Guess who has a new album to promote!!!! Sheryl Crow has her new CD, Detours out!! I love what I have heard so far, and I will be buying this on ITunes, foe sho. And it looks like she’s doing some promo work on David Letterman.
if you haven’t heard shine over Babylon, or Love is free click below, they’re both really good.
So if you didn’t hear… Katie Holmes was on the Late Night with David Letterman last night. Talking about the family, sharing kid stories with Dave, and promoting her new movie “Mad Money”.
The only thing I could think of was moving her hair!!! It was STUCK next to her mouth for the beginning of the interview, and that was it for me. I really didn’t hear anything she had to say. But then, when they started talking babies..zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
She does look fantastic. Those runner legs were definitely on display. Me-ow!
This is what a runner’s legs look like! Dang! GO KATIE!!!! Katie Holmes arrives at the Ed Sullivan Theater for “The Late Show with David Letterman“. I guess it’s the first time she’s doing this kind of press since 2005!
She looks fantastic.
But then, I’d be running a full marathon too if i had a nanny for my kids, and a husband to pay all my bills too!
