I’m an unabashedly a fan of Britney Spears. AND SHE WON!!!! she won the Best Female Video. YAY!!!!

I must say that it was so nice to see her acting, normal. lol Though her acting in the opening scene was, well, lackluster.

it was so cute that she thanked God, her family, and her 2 boys. Oh and the fans. I love it.

And might I say that she is looking FAB U LOUS!!!!

here we go!! Britney Spears joined up with Russel Brand for the ads for MV’s VMAs. I LOVE her laugh in these two ads!!! It’s so refreshing.

Does anyone even watch those anymore? I mean, there aren’t even videos on MTV!!!

Anyways, here’s Ms. Spears with her 9,000 lb elephant in the room, advertising the awards for things that don’t exist on the channel that made them necessary.

Do any of the tweens even get the elephant reference?

That’s right. Now that Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi can wed, in the state of California anyways, the tow headed twosome have set a date. But they’re not sharing WHAT the date is. I don’t blame them. But with Ellen’s habit of being a little too forthcoming on her show (hello Izzy!) I wouldn’t doubt if she let it “slip”.

They showed off Portia’s new Neil Lane engagement ring on the red carpet for the Daytime Emmy’s last night. (Ellen also won for Best Talk Show Host)

This will be the first marriage for Ellen, but the second “wedding” for Portia. (She had a previous “ceremony” to Ringo Starr’s stepdaughter, Francesca Gregorini).

We COULD be hearing this come later this year. Britney Spears has earned a spot on the list of possible nominees for Guest spots on TV shows. It’s not a short list, yet. Brit Brit is sharing room with 40 other women. She is being nominated for her 2 spots on How I Met Your Mother.

Other notable names also up for Academy consideration are Sarah Silverman for her guest shot on Monk; Mary-Kate Olsen, who won over many Weeds fans during her extended run as a pot-dealing Christian on the Showtime hit; Alyssa Milano for her role as Billie on My Name is Earl; and Scrubs star Sarah Chalke, who is on the ballot for guest-starring as Brit’s boss on How I Met Your Mother.

I know I am going to upset a lot of people, but Brit was the best part of those 2 episodes. I really don’t see the appeal of the show in general. With the exception of Neil Patrick Harris’ character. I’d like a show about HIM.

Benicio Del Toro took the award for best actor in Cannes this weekend! YAY Fenster got an award!!! Benicio, who received the award on unanimous vote, won for his portrayal of Che Guevara in Stephen Doderbergh’s long long lonnnnnnnnnng movie that was split into 2, 2 hour movies.

“I’d like to dedicate this to the man himself, Che Guevara,” said Del Toro. He also thanked Soderbergh, “who got up every day, forced me to this. … He was there pushing it, and he pushed all of us.”

cio. He’s one of those actors that I see in an ad, and I am more interested. And he’s been in A LOT of movies!
