Not sounding as creepy as Papa Joe Simpson, but awfully close, Amy Winehouse’s dad, Mitch Winehouse, spoke out about how Amy is doing. And that includes her newest assets, her breasts.
On Wednesday, Mitch Winehouse told British TV show This Morning that his daughter is, “Fantastic, fantastic. Her boobs are great as well.” He then smiled and said, “I shouldn’t have said that should I? She looks absolutely fantastic.”
At least he acknowledged that he shouldn’t have said that. I guess, though, if everyone has been talking about her new implants, why not make light of it? It’s still creepy, but in a funny way.
I do wonder, though, why she got that done.
On a more serious note, though, he spoke about her sobriety, and how it’s going.
Her taxi-driver father said that she is faring well and “has not been sick now for a year.”
But the battle is ongoing. “There is no total recovery. It’s a recovery. It’s a slow, gradual recovery,” he said. “If you look back to where we were a year ago, you know we are in a different planet. We are in a different space and a different time and a different person. We all are. We’re all recovering.”
That sounds fantastic! I wish Amy and her family the best of luck with her recovery!
After a tumultuous last couple of years, it looks like Amy Winehouse may be getting back on track, making that money. Island, Amy’s record label, co-president Darcus Beese said that the Back To Black singer will be releasing a new album next year!
“I’ve heard a couple of song demos that absolutely floored me,” Beese said.
“Hopefully we’ll have her album next year.”
He said the singer had been writing and recording “in fits and starts”.
Amy has been in St Lucia, supposedly sobering up, and is now back in London working on the album. Amy will also be making an appearance singing backup for her god daughter on the UK’s Strictly Come Dancing.
Oh how the money goes, when all you do is go on vacation, and you don’t show up to work. Amy Winehouse said to have gone through HALF of her bank account in the past 18 months!
Winehouse, who is currently doing not much of anything in St. Lucia, away from her soon to be ex-husband in London, maybe have gone through over $6 MILLION since last January. WOW! That’s a lot of eyeliner and hair spray!
So what’s a girl to do to pay the bills if she’s lounging on an island somewhere? Amy may has sold the rights to her lyrics to be used on (ready?) greeting cards, and wrapping paper. Fantastic.

No No, Amy Winehouse, who is SAID to be a treatment center, for “breathing issues” (what?) was in the Caribbean island of St Lucia looking much healthier than usual!!!! She even has a non-emaciated tummy!
“Amy just whipped off her top and dived in to the sea without a care in the world. She was looking a better than she has for a while. A bit of sun is just what she needs.”
She looks pretty good, nice top, too. I mean, what? I hope this is a move in the right direction. Too bad I’m here exploiting her road to recovery. I’m such a parasite.
