Carlsbad Park Hyatt Aviara Kicks Off The Holidays In Style

Carlsbad Hyatt Aviara holiday open house in Southern California near San Diego had perfect weather for the Christmas event

The winter holiday season was on full display this past weekend at Carlsbad’s Park Hyatt Aviara Resort.  On Saturday, Aviara held its first annual Holiday Open House and welcomed everyone from the community to join in on the fun.  Attendees were greeted by carolers in Dicken’s style costume, Christmas tress all through the resort, and a winter wonderland outside.  There were beautfilly decorated gingerbread houses on display as well as a model train in the main entrance.

Gingerbread houses brought the Christmas feel to this wonderful winter holiday party Children were more than welcome at this celebration.  There was a station just for decorating cookies, as well as a giant movie screen on the lawn playing The Grinch.  There was even “snow” falling outside on the lawn, and a “Peppermint Princess” read stories to the children outside.

Inside, the hallways were filled with Christmas Trees decorated in their own themes.  Each of which were to be auctioned off  to raise money for charity.  There were also hot chocolate and hot cider stations, complete with plenty of marshmallows for guests of all ages to enjoy.  As an extra special treat, complimentary sparkling wine was available for the adults to sip on while taking in the scenery.

Beautiful Christmas trees were found all throughout Aviara Park Hyatt during their holiday open house.

We had a great time walking around the Holiday Open House at Park Hyatt Aviara Resort in Carlsbad. It was quite the change of pace from our every day and a nice way to kick off the holiday season.  We drank sparkling wine, walked out on the lawn and watched the “snow” fall on the kids playing near the fountain.  There was also a photo booth for everyone to take their pictures in, and we saw plenty of people, adults and kids alike, carrying photo strips around the rest of the night.

This was a lovely evening and we hope that this will become a Southern California tradition akin to the Carlsbad flower field in the Summer.
