My Week With The ILX Hybrid *Contest*

Oh, hello there… am I what you’re looking for?

Guess what bees? Your ever faithful pinup has been given the chance to test the 2013 Acura ILX Hybrid for a whole week.  I have traded in my car for this luxury sedan.  Not a bad trade, I must admit.

I have been looking forward to this little lady being in my driveway for a while now and if you have been following me on Twitter and Facebook (like you should) you know I’ve been asking for ideas of where to go this week.  Should I go to the mountains, up the coast, head to Las Vegas, visit the Hollywood Sign?

What would you do if Acura gave you the NEW Acura ILX Hyrbrid for week, with a full tank of gas?  Would you drive to see your college room mate in Nevada?  Try out the handling on Mammoth Mountain?  Or floor it on a road trip through wine country?

    I would absolutely have to go find a bunch of my girls in the breast cancer study and take em’ wine tasting in Temecula! (Single tank won’t quite make the Paso or Napa trip)

    I would drive all over the place, and tell everyone how awesome Acura was…I’d feel like a boss for sure! My joy would spread to others, and they, too, would feel the desperate desire to own one, so they will go buy one. And they will feel like a boss.

    Omg considering that my husbands car died over the summer and I an here with two small kids, we would hit the town from dawn to dusk and do all the things we can’t do now!!!

    I would love to drive up the coast of Northern California to see the changing fall colors. Or maybe a quick trip to Vegas :-)

    I’d move up the state to Fredericksburg for the weekend. I’ve been considering moving up there, but not ready to commit, having only visited twice. I’m finding that the area has a lot more job opportunities, is perfect for peers my age, and is a place where I could also go ahead and add to my education. I’d use it to explore the historical area, search out jobs in the day and hot local spots in the evening. Love that small city feel.

    We have a major gas shortage here in NYC so the full tank would be AMAZING! LOL.. I would take the #weekwithILX to bring donations to all of the shelters here on Staten Island that are housing victims of hurricane Sandy. Many of my friends and neighbors lost everything and I was fortunate enough to have only minimal property damage so my family and I are doing all we can to help out our neighbors in need. I’d also use it to give fellow volunteers a ride to the clean up sites since many cars have been totaled during the storm as well.
    For fun, I’d go see the new twilight movie and to see a live a broadway play in Manhattan!
