There may have been rumors about Debra Messing and her husband of 10 years Daniel Zelman having issues for a while, at least underground, but it still seemed odd to when they announced their separation a few days ago.
Now we know WHY it was announced. Debra Messing is having an affair with her Smash costar Will Chase. Oh, and he’s married, too, to Broadway actress Stephanie Gibson.
Chase and Messing, 43, have been an item for about six weeks, according to the on-set insider.
“It all happened very fast and it’s a difficult situation,” says the source.
It’s being said that Debra and soon to be former husband Daniel are still living together to take care of their 7 year old son, Roman. This has to be BEYOND awkward.
I wonder what’s going to happen when this show flops.

Designer Marc Jacobs hung out with ex-fiancé Lorenzo Martone on the beach in St.Barth, France on December 27, 2011 and got a surprise visit from designer Rachel Zoe and her son Skyler Morrison Berman. Lorenzo adored Skyler as he held him for a while as Rachel chatted with him. Jacobs and Martone broke off their relationship last summer but are they back together?
