A very pregnant looking Jennifer Garner got all gussied up and headed off to a meeting in Santa Monica yesterday (October 19, 2011). I don’t know what for, so don’t ask.

Can I be honest here for a moment? What is it about being knocked up that made Jen give a damn about her appearance? I mean, all we saw for years was Jen tool around town in ill fitting jeans that fell down and exposed fraying panties to the world. She had that “I completely give up” look about her. And now that she’s expecting (a boy btw) another baby, she’s started looking a lot better in public.

Am I wrong here? I mean, really?

It is being reported that Libyan leader Muammar al-Qaddafi has been killed.

Libyan strongman Muammar Qaddafi is dead, Prime Minister Mahmoud Jibril has confirmed.
“We have been waiting for this moment for a long time. Muammar Qaddafi has been killed,” Jibril told a news conference in the capital Tripoli.
Qaddafi died of wounds suffered during his capture near his hometown of Sirte on Thursday, Reuters and Sky News reported. Libyan leaders have informed the United States that Qaddafi is dead, according to an unidentified U.S. official who said Libya’s National Transitional Council (NTC) is expected to officially announce his death soon. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the U.S. could independently confirm Qaddafi’s death.
“Qaddafi is dead. He is absolutely dead … he was shot in both legs and in the head. The body will be arriving in Misrata soon,” media spokesman Abdullah Berrassali told Sky News. [Fox]

When asked about the report, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton could NOT confirm that the Libyan tyrant was actually dead.

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said her department was still attempting to confirm the reports.
“[We] can’t confirm Qaddafi’s capture or death but if it’s true, it’s a big sigh of relief,” Clinton told FOX News White House correspondent Wendell Goler, who is traveling with her in Pakistan. “One more obstacle removed but we still have a steep climb ahead.”

The Libyan leader was long thought of as a tyrant and it does not seem that the world will miss him. But, nature abhors a vacuum. And just because HE is gone, does not necessarily mean that things will get better for the people of Libya. Now that Qaddafi is gone, who or what will take his place?

So these are the sketches for Dita Von Teese’s new dress line, MUSE, that will be debuting in Australia at the end of October.  And this…

is what it looks like on Dita.  She said that the design is based on dresses that she has from the 50s that she’s worn for years.  Currently, the size 8-20 dresses are only available at David Jones stores in Australia, but will soon be in the UK and US.

So what do you think of the first dress in Dita’s MUSE line?  I’m not much one for the single strap, but I love the design over all.  Can’t wait to see what else the design holds.

It’s Britney!! And she is looking GOOD! I love love love this video. Forget about the whole shooting up places and robbing people. Or that the story of the poor little rich girl running away from the bad boyfriend (also done in her video for Radar).  And all the product placement?  Really?  I guess you pay the bills however you can, right?

Britney And Beau Are Criminals

This “Criminal” video is gorgeous to look at and can I say that her REAL life boyfriend Jason Trawick is HOT?! I mean, neither of them can really act, but you can tell they are comfortable with each other in front of the camera.

And I wouldn’t necessarily show this to kids. Too much nudity and the song isn’t really empowering, now is it? But it’s fun candy.
