Man, I love it when I get something right before it’s officially announced. It doesn’t happen all that often so let me gloat.
Yesterday, I did a post about the love notes being passed via twitter between Kat Von D and Jesse James and then it came out that yes, the tattooed twosome are indeed back on. Not only that but they are engaged once again!
In an interview with PEOPLE, James made it official. The engagement is back on, and Von D is once again wearing her ring.
“Sometimes you are only given one chance in life,” he says. “It was up to me to open my eyes and see it. That girl is my chance. I will never stop fighting and striving to hold on to her. Showing her how special she is, and how much I love her.”
Hmmm, and all this was done the very same day that TLC announced that Kat’s TV show L.A. Ink would not be returning for another season.
Call me cynical, but maybe their initial breakup was all for the cameras? And since her show isn’t being filmed anymore they just went ahead and decided to go public with their real relationship??
OK, so I just woke up from an accidental nap (don’t judge me) and was flipping through my Twitter feed, when I saw a note from Jesse James [@FreeJesseJames].
Project Runway judge and American clothing designer (one of my favorites btw) Michael Kors done got himself hitched!
Kors and his long time boyfriend, Lance LePere, who was his intern back in 1990, married on the beach in Southhampton, NY.
The couple wed in a private ceremony on Dune Beach officiated by Southampton Mayor Mark Epley.
“To marry someone as wonderful and special to me as Lance barefoot on a glorious beach is more than I could have dreamed of,” Kors, 51, told WWD. [via People]
Barefoot? On the beach? Really? I don’t know, maybe it’s because my cousin did this, and I live right close to the beach that I think it’s kind of cliche. But, congratulations to the long time couple.
