I am loving this season, Season 5, of Bravo’s Flipping Out. On tonight’s episode, Jeff Lewis has another big business opportunity, paint! This could be HUGE for Jeff and his crew. But before he jumps in with both feet, and his pocket book, Jeff consults his dad.

UK fans of Jane’s Addiction were in for a little heartbreak this weekend. JA’s singer Perry Farrell had something wrong with his throat, so they had to cancel their performance!

Jane’s Addiction regretfully had to cancel their scheduled headline performance on the NME /Radio 1 stage at this year’s Reading Festival as singer Perry Farrell was unable to perform due to the severe swollen condition of his throat.

Although Farrell was treated earlier in the day by top local London physicians and had his heart set on trying to perform under any circumstance, in the end he was completely unable to produce any sound vocally. Jane’s Addiction would like to deeply apologize to the fans for any inconvenience. Farrell’s condition remains day to day. [fb]

Dang. At least guitarist Dave Navarro was there to break the news to some of the fans.

I just have to address the longer hair on Dave. I don’t know where he’s going with that. He looks better with shorter hair IMO. And without a cigarette. :-/ (Still super hot, though)

I almost forgot about Johnny Depp‘s second turn as gonzo journalist, Hunter S Thompson, until I saw the trailer for The Rum Diary was finally coming out! [See photos from the set here!]

The Rum Diary – Paul Kemp is a freelance journalist who finds himself at a critical turning point in his life while writing for a run-down newspaper in the Caribbean. Paul is challenged on many levels as he tries to carve out a more secure niche for himself amidst a group of lost souls all bent on self-destruction. [IMDB]

This movie looks like good fun. Yeah, Depp is reprising his role of Hunter S. Thompson, but he’s looking pretty cleaned up, and he got his hair cut! And that hot piece Aaron Eckhart is in it! Double win.

Depp had originally taken on the task of being Thompson in 1998′s Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas, and now he returns younger (and better dressed). Ok, technically he isn’t playing “Thompson” he’s playing a character from Thompson’s book that was made into the movie…. but it’s totally Thompson in disguise.

After over 2 years of waiting, this looks like a great movie.

The ever elegant, and beautiful, Dita Von Teese took a little break from photographing her new lingerie line, and stepped out for a bite to eat with a friend yesterday (August 24, 2011). I love that her Christian Louboutin‘s are a shocking shade of lime! I don’t know many other people that can get away with such a statement, especially with the bright colored dress and hat to go with them.

I still don’t know how she doesn’t tan, though.
