Lindsay Lohan actually made it to the court hose this morning! She and her lawyers tried to get her hearing postponed due to her new found religiosity (it IS Good Friday after all).
The hearing today seems to be focused just how expensive the necklace is. If it is over $2,000 like the jewelry store claims, the alleged theft is a felony. If it is only $800 as the defense claims, it’s a misdemeanor.

What can be better for a blogger than getting invited to a party? How about a party held just for social media savvy people at the La Costa Resort and Spa.
Last week, I was able to check out the newly updated Spa and Relaxation area at Spa La Costa in Carlsbad, Ca.
The event was hosted by The San Diego Momfia (@SDMomfia) so there were plenty of women bloggers, (around 200 of us!), relaxing and socializing in real life. Flat screens with Twitter and Facebook feeds followed our every post for the #spasocial, allowing many of us to realize we already “knew” each other via twitter and it was so nice to but a face to the avatar.

It wasn’t just a bunch of people on their blackberries and I-phones staring at screens all night. There were free hand treatments provided by Spa La Costa (@SpaLaCosta) (I even sat across from the general manager as he received his first treatment).
There was also a live band, Otto Pilot, that played out at the pool and lots of very yummy food including incredible lobster sliders and mint strawberry sorbet with chocolate covered strawberries.
We were also encouraged to participate in the Easter Egg Hunt, and if you got the special slime filled egg, there were prizes for you to choose from. I got the chocolate filled ones instead.

It was also a night of helping other people. Home Start came to speak and we participated in their Quarters Count campaign to help children and families that are victims of child abuse and assault.
It was a fantastic night of socializing with so many fellow bloggers. And I thank Spa La Costa and San Diego Momfia for letting me go.
Claire Sinclair, Playboy Playmate Miss October 2010 returns to MGM Grand’s Crazy Horse Paris for a encore appearance kicking off Wednesday, April 20. Sinclair, currently featured on E! Television’s Holly’s World and is the face of the pin-up inspired clothing line Bettie Page, will perform two shows nightly April 20 – 27 at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
Isn’t she just a walking pin up doll? She’s more an Elvgren girl than Dita Von Teese‘s Vargas style, but they are both just fantastic.
Dr. Foxy’s show is still going on CNN’s HLN and last night, he had a little visit from San Diego’s own Kendra Wilkinson. She’s promoting her own show “Kendra” on E!, and of course “Dancing With The Stars”.
Kendra covers a lot of ground in this interview, talking about EVERYTHING — from her relationship with Hef; her dark past involving cutting, drugs, and stripping; the impact of her nonexistent relationship with her father; and the happy ending that current family life brings her. Dr. Drew had a conversation with her that examined why and how Kendra changed her life.
Kendra said of the part of her life she looks back and feels sadness over: “I guess the cutting part of my life, and the drugs. I mean, that just wasn’t me. I will never understand why I got into that. I don’t even like drugs, I just did it to do it…and I can be honest and say I was doing it out of attention. Nobody was giving me the attention that I needed.”
And in discussing her life now, Kendra describes a tender moment with her husband and child: “Last night I can tell you, it was one of the special moments in our life together. We woke up baby Hank to have some time with him…he was so happy that he leaned in and kissed us both, and that’s my life. That’s life, that’s my drug.”
I’m so glad Kendra is getting her life together. (And I love it when she dresses like this)
We all saw Ramona reinvent herself last season, this time around, it’s all about Alex. Alex “starts a new chapter” and takes on a career as a model. She may be struggling at her first photo shoot, but that doesn’t stop her from seeing herself as a high fashion model. While Alex is in front of the camera, some of the other housewives hit the bar and attend a speed dating/wine tasting event. Will the ladies find their dream men or is it going to be a big letdown for the single ladies?
