WhenLady Gagareleased her newest single, “Born This Way” (which I love BTW) the melody comparisons to “Express Yourself” and “Holiday” by Madonna were rampant. (there were also some mentions of “Waterfalls” by TLC)
And NOW we have accusations of the actual MUSIC being taken from another pop group. Korean group SNSD is accusing Momma Monster of blatantly ripping off their ‘Be Happy‘ track from their 2010 album. NOT the melody of singing, THE ACTUAL MUSIC!
Ok, I know that pop music all kind of sounds alike (let’s get real here) but listening to these two songs back to back, Gaga and her producers have a few questions to answer.
I mean, it’s one thing to use the SAME producer a la Katy Perry/Kesha and have the songs sound VERY similar, but it’s a whole other thing to just lift someone else’s music.

Let me tell you one thing peeps, once X-Factor premieres in the United States, American Idol is going to be second rate. Not only will Simon Cowell and his sprouting chest hair be back, but he is bringing some big name celebrities to his judging roster.
I have heard several rumors including Enrique Iglesias taking on a hosting gig, but here’s a new one for ya. Taylor Momsenanyone? I can tell you she wouldn’t have been my first choice, but hey, I’m game for an image revamp.
Celebuzz is reporting that the smoky-eyed raccoon lingerie wearing teen is being considered as a co-host for the show. So why in the heck do producers think Momsen would be a good choice for the spot? She’s ‘young, hip and edgy’. Duh.
Even though Simon left behind Idol for an X-Factor US debut, I have a feeling he made the right decision and his show will smash Idol to pieces.
So who has officially signed on for the show? Locked in so far is superstar producer L.A. Reid as a judge.
Expect to hear more rumors swirling up until the March 27th auditions where contestants will begin their journey to winning the ultimate prize…a FIVE million dollar recording contract.
