Oh bummer. Comedic actor, Leslie Nielsen, has died. He was 84.

According to TMZ, Nielsen suffered from complications of pneumonia, and passed away in his home in Fort Lauderdale surrounded by family.

He was best known for his roles in Airplane and the Naked Gun series. I’ll always remember him as the man who married Dorothy Petrillo Zbornak (Bea Arthur) at the end of Golden Girls.

Men and Women, Cannot Be Friends….

Teen sensation, Justin Bieber, took New York by storm yesterday singing copies of his autobiography, First Step 2 Forever, at Barnes and Noble.  People waited OUTSIDE in the FREEZING COLD for over an hour and a half before even being allowed into the store to wait even longer to meet Biebs.  And it must have been pretty darn cold inside B&N too because The Bieb was wearing his mittens to keep his widdle fingehs warm.    Ok, those things are a major fashion don’t.  They’re not even the DKNY texting gloves.  (you can see those here) They’re just fingerless mittens.

And I’m not even going to start about what must be in that book.  Because goodness knows if he can grab it, I saw get that dollar while you can.

So, if you were offered money and free food to stick to a healthy diet,  would you do it? Carnie Wilson, of 90s ballad makers Wilson Philips, has been FIRED as a spokesperson for The Fresh Diet because of her love of… cheesecake!

The story is that Carnie was a paid celebrity client of the home delivery food service, and as such, she could only eat TFD’s food. Her delivery of TFD even appeared on her newest reality show, “Unstapled”. There are 3 meals, and two snacks, and one of the most popular “snacks” from the menu are the variety of cheesecakes that TFD makes.

But Carnie took to making her OWN cheesecake COMPANY! And she only lost 19 pounds since February!!! There is NO WAY you could be on TFD for that long and only lose 19 pounds!!! So, Carnie was fired.

Ezzy Duchman, publicist for The Fresh Diet, tells Star magazine, “Carnie was promoting her cheesecakes while she was supposed to be only eating our three meals and two snacks a day. We had to take her off the corporate website because she has not been a successful case. She didn’t stick to it, and she didn’t lose weight. We had to cut ties with her.” [AcesShowbiz]
