Nice tire tracks there Junior -BusyBeeBlogger

It was a very long night for former NFL Player Junior Seau. The 41 year old former Charger was arrested for allegedly assaulting his 25 year old girlfriend at their shared home then he drove his car off a cliff.  Nice job Junior.

Seau, 41, was arrested around midnight, after a report was called in around 10:00 p.m. Sunday. Oceanside police told 10News that his 25-year-old live-in girlfriend, Mary Nolan, was the victim in the incident. Police said Nolan claimed Seau assaulted her during an argument.

Seau was not at the home when officers arrived, but called Nolan a short time later and agreed to come back to the residence, Oceanside Police Department Lt. Leonard Mata said. Shortly after midnight, he returned and was arrested without incident. He was booked about 2 a.m., then posted bail and was released roughly 90 minutes later, according to jail officials.

Nolan suffered superficial injuries that did not require medical treatment, Mata said.

About five hours after he was released from custody, Seau drove his 2005 Cadillac Escalade SUV off a cliff in Carlsbad, Carlsbad police told 10News.

Additionally, a witness called 10News around 9:00 a.m. to report that she saw Seau drive a car off a cliff directly in front of her near Carlsbad Boulevard and Solamar Drive.

Police think he was going 60 when he drove off the cliff. He then went AIRBORN and fell 40 or so feet down the cliff to the beach below.

Ok, I live near this area, and run this beach… A LOT. Some are saying that Junior was asleep when he went off the cliff, but I don’t think so. But who am I to say, just some gossip blogger who’s driven and run that road an awful lot.

So I stopped by the crash site/beach after working today, and it was full of looky loos just like me. As well as a reporter from every news outlet in the area. If you don’t know, Junior is a local here. He graduated Oceanside High School (just north of Carlsbad), and was just inducted into the Oceanside High School hall of fame last week. Way to go Junior. Making us all look good.

Oh, and he’s said to be doing ok, no serious injuries.

Busy Bee LOVES Sam The Cooking Guy!

This past Friday, Busy Bee had the great please of going to watch Sam The Cooking Guy do his thing LIVE and in person! How freaking excited was I?? I mean combining food, and entertainment? I’m in heaven!

Oh don’t quite know where you know Sam the Cooking Guy from??? He has a cooking show called “Sam the Cooking Guy” and a national show on Discovery Health/Fit TV “Just Cook This”. He’s also the cook that told Kathie Lee and Hoda to shut their pie holes on the Today Show.

Now, BBB won the seat in his cooking class at San Diego Kitchen and Bath because I was listening to Sam on his weekly visit to The DSC on Jack FM, and Sam offered tickets to people on Twitter and Facebook. And I won! (are you following BBB on Twitter and Facebook?)

So, I packed up the car and drove down to San Diego and parked my fanny in the seat to watch Sam The Cooking Guy work up a bunch of good food that even I will attempt to make! WOOHOO!

Former cyclist, and now full time cancer advocate, Lance Armstrong is expanding his franchise. Late last night, Lance and his girlfriend, Anna Hansen, welcomed daughter Olivia Marie into the world. Of course, he had to let us all know, via twitter.
