Watch out Talyor Lautner and Robert Pattinson, there is a new hunk on the horizon. Stephanie Meyer’s last series made those two household names, and now her latest book The Host is rumored to have it’s new star: James Holzier.

James has been very busy lately. Not only is he said to have joined “The Host” but he also just signed on to star in the law thriller “Playing the Card.”

The story will be about Julian Jefferson, a law student who after the death of his parents is raising his sister. While in school Jefferson’s sister is suddenly gunned down in a random bank robbery. Jefferson (Holzier) must find a way through his law experience to find and bring justice to the killers.

Principle photography begins in December to an early to 2011 shoot date. The film is scheduled for release in late 2011. [World Correspondents]

I found more information on James Holzier on his Facebook. It seems he’s going to be awfully busy with Playing The Card, and ESPECIALLY The Host.

Better stock up on those ear plugs, James. The screams will be deafening.
