Singer Katy Perry and actor/comedian Russell Brand are said to be getting married this weekend in India. Since, their friends and family came all that way, Russell and Katy are spoiling everyone. Why not, it’s a weekend of love and happiness for all! (Ok I need to lay off the coffee this morning)
The group started their fun with a safari and rides on camels, and ended with the traditional mehndi ceremony at the resort.
Though the area is known for its tiger population, according to one wildlife guard, the group who went out early Thursday morning (which did not include the singer, 25, or the actor, 35) “saw baby deer, spotted deer, blue bulls, jackals, and jungle cats.” Still, the source says, “They were thrilled.” Brand and Perry joined in the wildlife fun Friday by going on safari.
Thursday, a small bazaar was set up inside the resort – an Indian wedding tradition – where guests could buy textiles, jewelry and Indian handicrafts, or have their fortune told – by a parrot. (He picks a card based on the Indian cosmic system.)
Later, under a full moon, the wedding party was entertained by 40 folk musicians and dancers.
“Everyone was relaxing by the pool and drinking and eating Indian snacks while we performed,” said Lalit Tiwari, who had brought the troupe into Ranthambhore from New Delhi. “Towards the end, some of them came towards the stage and started dancing during the ‘bhangra’ (an energetic dance from the rural area of Punjab).”
Friday night’s plan: a Bollywood-themed performance along with a traditional mehndi ceremony – one of the most important pre-wedding rituals of an Indian marriage. [People]

Today is the day that Lindsay Lohan will learn her fate for breaking probation in her DUI case. Lohan was doing cocaine while on probation and wearing another SCRAM bracelet.
So, what might Judge Fox DO today in regards to LL??
• Lohan could be found in violation and be sent back to jail on the spot
• The actress could be ordered to stay in rehab in lieu of jail
• She might skip the hearing if her attorney can provide a letter from the Betty Ford Center demonstrating her progress
• Judge Fox could postpone the hearing all together to see how well she does in treatment [People]
Lindsay has been in the Betty Ford Center for the past three weeks in what could be another stunt to keep herself out of jail. This is the FIFTH TIME she has entered rehab (voluntarily or otherwise). Many times people will enter rehab to avoid jail time thinking that the judge will “go easy” on them since it would look like they are taking steps in the right direction.
“Judge Fox has to balance whether to help Lindsay with her addiction or punish her with jail,” says Sitkoff. “But if she continues to mess up by not following the court’s orders, he won’t hesitate to lock her up.”
In my opinion it’s not the court’s main concern to keep LL sober. That’s HER job. But, if she CONTINUES to break the rules of her contract with the courts, by violating her parole, or simply the laws of the state she chooses to live in, the judge SHOULD punish her for her choices.

I have to admit I do love watching this show. When GND first started, Kendra was REALLY young, but it’s been fun watching her mature and become something more than a party girl.

It’s a day ending in Y so that means some sort of Angelina Jolie rumor is floating around. This time it’s her supposed former drug dealer, Franklin Meyer, talking to Life & Style. One of the things he yaps about is Angelina getting high before going on the air on the Charlie Rose Show in 2000. (she was promoting Girl, Interrupted)
Meyer says the starlet was on drugs during her Jan. 14, 2000, appearance on a talk show. “She was at my place. I was filming her and she’d taken coke,” Meyer tells Life & Style. “She went directly to do The Charlie Rose Show.” And his story certainly seems accurate. A 24-year-old Angelina went on the show to promote her new film Girl, Interrupted. During the interview, she’s shy and spacey, stumbles and stutters over her words, rambles on about her tattoos and is very fidgety.
At one point during the interview, she becomes overly excited when discussing how hard it was to let go of her characters Gia, (from the film of the same name), and Lisa, in Girl, Interrupted, and apologizes as she accidentally hits the microphone hooked up to her chest. And Angelina didn’t go home and sleep off her binge after she finished. Meyer says, “She did the show, then she came back over!”
I’d say this is a YES. But that’s not what hit me in this interview. What surprised me is that in 10 years Angelina is still giving the same interview script. She loves her mom, she takes on her characters and can’t let them go, and she doesn’t have friends (especially women).
