Well, thank goodness. It has been a few days, but Celine Dion’s twin boys FINALLY have names. *Whew* I was really worried there for a while.

World, please welcome Eddy and Nelson.

The name “Eddy” comes from Eddy Marnay, who produced the singer’s first five records. “He was like a father to her,” says Dion’s rep. “Eddy is a major influence in both Céline and René’s lives.”

Nelson is named after Nelson Mandela, whom Dion met two years ago while kicking off her world tour in South Africa. “René said that in just the few minutes they were able to spend with him, they were impressed by the human being he is,” says the rep. [People]

Um, ok. At least they’re semi normal names. You know, for the entertainment world.  Eddy and Nelson join older brother René-Charles.

Congrats on not being kid 2 and kid 3 anymore.

Oooh dear. It’s never a good thing when the editor of a magazine has to apologize for putting someone on the cover. But that is just what the editor of Shape Magazine, editor-in-chief Valerie Latona, is doing. It seems that many of her readers did NOT think that LeAnn Rimes was appropriate to be their cover girl.

“You are all in good company…as you all agree Shape has made a terrible mistake in putting LeAnn Rimes on the cover,” Latona explained. “Please know that our putting her on the cover was not meant to put a husband-stealer on a pedestal-but to show (through her story) how we all are human. And this woman in particular found strength in exercise in what she said was her most difficult personal moment.”
“it did not come across that way…And for that I’m terribly sorry. I hope that we can do better the next time for those of you that will give us another chance.”[via US]

So, just what got Shape readers’ panties in a twist?  Maybe it was LeAnn talking about just why she had an affair with fellow married actor,Eddie Cibrian, and then left her husband.

“My relationship with Dean was great, but ultimately it wasn’t a fulfilling marriage for either of us,” Rimes, 28, told the mag. “I understand why people are disappointed in me, especially since I grew up as America’s sweetheart.”

I find it interesting that LeAnn gets rejected, but Angelina Jolie still sells magazines.

Ahhh. Mariah Carey is opening up to Access Hollywood and telling them all about her baby on the way! It’s going to be pink, covered in butterflies, and named Hello Kitty.

“Yes, we are pregnant. This is true,” Carey, 41, said on the Today show Thursday morning as part of a sneak peek at a three-part Access Hollywood interview. “It’s been a long journey. It’s been tough because I’ve been trying to hold on to a shred of privacy.” [People]

I love that Mimi talks about wanting her privacy … while talking about a very private issue. Her husband Nick Cannon said something but I don’t care about what he had to say. Mariah then said she will not be disclosing her due date to anyone.
