The split is official, Christina Aguilera has filed for divorce from her executive husband Jason Bratman.

According to TMZ Xtina filed TODAY….

Holly Madison or Christina Aguilera.

Aguilera cited “irreconcilable differences” in her divorce petition, which was filed today.
The petition says there is a prenup.

Aguilera, who is represented by disso-queen Laura Wasser, lists the date of separation as September 11, 2010.
Aguilera is seeking joint physical and legal custody of their child, Max, who is 2.
The petition also seeks to terminate Bratman’s ability to get spousal support.

How long before the stories start pouring out about cheating? Come on, even if they’re not true, you know it’s going to happen.

Fame Pictures is claiming that Katy and Russell are to be married at a gorgeous resort in Rajasthan, India.

Interior shots of the luxury tents in the desert resort of Aman-i-Khas which have been booked out according to local sources by Katy Perry and Russell Brand ahead of their wedding on October 23, 2010. The celebrity couple are expected to be staying in the 5* tents in the middle of the Rajasthan desert – where Katy will have her hands decorated with henna tattoos in the traditional Indian pre-wedding Mehendi ceremony – before moving to Jaipur for the marriage ceremony.

How freaking gorgeous is this resort?

I do love that since they got engaged in India that they (possibly) have decided to get married there. I’m just a big softy

Oh lovely. Mother of the Year, Dina Lohan loves her daughter so much, that she’s shopping around Lindsay Lohan’s rehab experience to the highest bidder…. again!

According to a snitch over at Kikster Dina is trying to get some much desired dough from pimping out Lindsay, and the rest of her family.

“Not only has Dina been ‘shopping’ around her upcoming trip to visit Lindsay in rehab at Betty Ford with her “other” 3 abandoned children, Michael Jr,(22), Ali (16) and Cody (13) to media outlets for the sale of pictures BUT she is doing it to develop a new REALITY SHOW!”

Kikster’s source continues, “Dina(48) did this years ago when Lindsay first went into rehab. She sold the footage for an E! Network ‘Special’ and then worked with E! to land her reality show, Living Lohan.” The kikster insider goes on to say, “It’s really sad that Dina is doing this AGAIN. She’s been advised that it’s in poor taste but that’s Dina for you- it’s all about HER!”

I really wouldn’t doubt that this is happening. Dina would put Lindsay’s face of toilet paper if she could make a dollar from it.

Ah love. It makes us do the stupidest things. You know make promises we can’t keep or get married without a prenup. Yup! It seems that Russell Brand and Katy Perry love each other so much, that they are willing to risk their respective fortunes on each other.

In a New Your Times Talk (via Ineedmyfix) Russell opened up about his upcoming wedding to Perry.

“We just love each other and we want to get married in front of our friends and family and keep it very normal,”
“It ain’t about selling the pictures, it ain’t about doing no pre-nup, it’s just a normal thing.”

I like the idea that they are not interested in making money off of their photographs, and that it’s no body’s business but their own.

Do you think that they are really getting married without a pre-nup? Or is he saying that the money isn’t the focus of their marriage? I really hope that these two aren’t that stupid. Even I would get a pre-nup, and I don’t own anything. Well, there IS my Care Bear collection, and NO ONE is getting that! BACK OFF!

I know that Christmas is a few months away, but now is the time for me to get things fixed before family comes over for visits.

For the moment I still own my home. And with that, comes my home improvement list. Anyone else feel me on this one?

So I’m pretty gosh darn handy. Mostly because I refuse to pay anyone else to fix my home. I have painted my walls more times than anyone else cares to count.  I’ve also put up a ceiling fan that I bought at the Home Depot, and I even put in my own replacement windows. Yup, I did that. But there are a few things that I just can’t seem to get done.

Luckily for me, there’s a HD right down the road, and doing it myself is pretty east, and cheap.  I’ve been there enough times now that I pretty much know right where to go for whatever project I come up with.

There is a small hole in the siding of the outside wall that needs to be sanded down, and painted. It’s been there for about 3 years now, and I just can’t seem to get off my tush and do it! I could just use my Home Depot coupon code and buy some sand paper and new paint. It’s not that hard you know.

Hmmm then I could tackle the door that lets in too much cold air. Or change out my dated bathroom lights….and I could always paint this place again.
