There will be NO CHARGES pressed against comedian Russell Brand for allegedly roughing up a paparazzo a few weeks ago. Instead, the judge will give Russell and the pap a good talking to.
“This is the only action as of now,” L.A. City Attorney’s Office spokesman Frank Mateljan tells E! News. “Based on the info, it has been determined that this is the most appropriate action at this time.”
Mateljan says he has not heard anything about either side looking to press charges against the other.
At the time, Russell’s fiancee Katy Perry said that he was simply protecting her honor as the paparazzo was trying to get a picture up her dress.
