I love Oscar de la Renta. Though, I always feel like I’m not grown up to even be THINKING about ODLR, I do love what he does. That giant rose he used for years (still uses) on his signature perfume and powder could have been cheesy and gaudy, but I think they’re lovely and strong yet beautiful at the same time.

I guess that’s how I think of Oscar’s fashion… Strong yet beautiful at the same time.

Jessica Simpson and her new found “curves” at a Macy’s promotional event with boyfriend Eric Johnson -BusyBeeBlogger

I’m not even going to mention that Jessica Simpson still looks like she’s expecting a bundle of poopy diapers while leaving the Macy’s promotional event.  Nope, not today.  Instead, I’m going to talk about how much more flattering this dress is than the previous fashion mishaps (here and here) she had been wearing during fashion week.

I do love that she’s finally embracing the “curves” with a figure hugging dress.  And that detail on the shoulder is great.
